Russell's Latest Book

Russell has a new book all about scarfing.  He previously taught me the process for small dimensional lumber using a sled.  It was fairly easy for a beginner to get good results.

Aka Wrap

Here are a couple pictures of the first layer of bidirectional carbon wrapped around an aka.  I start laying up more pultrusion tomorrow. Two more layers on each side and then it gets wrapped again.

Mainsheet Beam Ready for Bonding

After fill coats and sanding I have a mainsheet beam ready for topcoats.  First, it must be bonded into the hull.
